Exterior Painting Pro Tip #1: We almost always paint the siding on a house with a flat paint so its easy to touch up and we paint the trim with a semi-gloss paint to give the 2 colors more contrast.
Interior Painting- Pro Tip #2: Paint the Ceilings first, so you dont get paint on the walls while rolling the ceiling. Next Paint the Walls, then last, but not least Paint the Trim. Now wah-lah your space is transformed!
Pressure Washing- Pro Tip #3: When washing decks we let the bleach or cleaner do the work and use minimal pressure to keep from damaging the wood.
Wallpaper- Pro Tip #4: We always wet the Wallpaper before removing it from the wall. This helps remove as much of the Sizing/Glue as possible and keeps the Wallpaper in one piece which helps with the clean up!
Wallpaper- Pro Tip #5: When it comes to Painting Metal Cabinets or any Metal surface its best to use an Oil Base Primer before Painting. The Oil Base Primer bonds to the metal unlike most Latex Primers or Paints, which will ensure the New Paint will not Chip, Bubble, or Peel over time. After using the Oil Base Primer you can use just about any type of Latex Paint you want.
